Between my host provider having frequent technical issues and my wireless connection flaking out practically on a daily basis, getting anything uploaded or updated on any of my sites has been a pain. Blah.
Since the last batch of easy frame brushes was fairly popular, I'm adding a second set that's more polaroid-ish looking and with enough space at the bottom to add text, if desired. I've also tossed in a couple little lipstick kiss accent brushes for a kissy-kissy thing on the frames; again, if desired. AND, as a bonus, I'm including a tutorial on how to make these things since it's really easy.

How to Make Frame Brushes (Paint Shop Pro):
1. Create a square or rectange in any size in black, but remember to allow for enough space for the drop shadow in Step #6.
2. Add symmetrical border: 1px in #cccccc
3. Add a border in #f1f1f1 with these dimensions:
-- top: 6px
-- left: 3px
-- right: 3px
-- bottom: 12px
This produces the frame image.
4. Create a new image, 100x100 with a white background
5. Copy frame image, paste as new layer to the 100x100 image and position it wherever you'd like.
6. Add drop shadow in whatever graphics program you use. Being lazy as hell, I use the free Eye Candy 3.1 plugin. To do this, go to Effects —» Plugins —» Eye Candy —» Drop Shadow —» Light gray border, at default setting (border color #909090)
7. Merge (flatten) all layers and save.
If you don't want odd-shaped borders in Step #3, just make sure the "symmetrical" box is checked in the "Add Borders" dialog box and choose a width you like. You can change the border color in the Eye Candy plugin if you wish.
Edited to add an .abr version, thanks to the lovely

Just drop the plugin file(s) into your PSP program's plugin folder. You can also create a plugin folder and tell PSP to go look for it. That's done by clicking on "File," then "Preferences," and then "File Locations." Refer to the Help file in the menu bar; it explains it more thoroughly.
Again, much obliged! ^_^
I've been looking all over for little lips brushes like these, as well as little hearts. At least I have one of the two now. :D
Taking the set, and will credit you in my resource post. :)

I think
Back to snagging goodies now, even if it's still way, way too hot....
Love the little kisses and these boxes are so, so useful :-)
So as not to spam you all over your LJ, I also took the tiny text blocks, decorative doodads and a few of your Otherworldly bases which are lovely enough to not need anything doing - just want to gaze at some of them from time to time.
So thank you several times for this little bounty :-)
Was the book one of your usual ones or the one you did during the NaNoWriMo last year?
Have fun with the goodies, and thanks for the comment on them.
The book I turned in was one of the usual ones, for Pocket. I'm still working on that darn NaNoWriMo book from last year! It's halfway done and I'm making progress, but I do have to focus on the ones that are contracted and pay me money. :)
Since I only use Paint Shop Pro, I would have no idea what .abr file works in whatever version of Photoshop.
When in your position, I always take the image pack. The whole point of going to the extra trouble to create an image pack is to make resources available to icon makers who use different graphic programs.
I do thank you for the compliment on the brushes.
Beautiful layout!
do you mind if I save the header for future use?
Just about everything at this site is up for grabs, but the layout isn't among them, sorry!
I made it just for this journal so I would finally have a "look" or whatever you call it -- it even has my journal name on it -- and I don't really want to see "my look" somewhere else. I hope you'll understand. :)
