Wow, it's been so long since I posted here that I hope I remember how to do an lj-cut! I pop back in with offerings that are kinda gaudy. Eigthteen glittery and sparkly icon textures, for those moments when you need to get in touch with your inner diva. :)

Probably best used as a new layer set to Screen at 100% opacity, but there might be other ways to abuse the sparklies. A new layer set to Dodge, with various opacity settings, would probably work too.
My play time has been occupied lately with 3D stuff, and I've gotten much better at it since I started last fall. If interested and/or curious, a bunch of my freebies are here. I also have a small store and a gallery that I post at every now and again.
A lot of things I learned from icon making have come in handy for this as well. :)

Of course, while DAZ Studio is free, and you can even get some of the figures for free, a lot of the content is not, so it soon becomes an expensive hobby anyway. :p
I was wondering if you'd be willing to give us some tutorials on making brushes and textures?
(I'm the poster formerly known as
What kind of tutorials in particular? Because a lot of the texture brushes were either just stock textures or happy accidents while experimenting in PSP. :p
Brush making tuts depend on what kind of brush: border, masking brush, photo frame, etc.

I love the tips and examples on how to use the textures. It's so much more useful than full icon tutorials I think, because then we all try the techniques out in our own ways instead of just copying blindly. Thank you :)
I've been using PSP for years, and I'm still learning new things! :)
